This is an 8-Digit display module based on the TM1638 chip. It allows you to interface with eight LEDs, eight 7-Segment digits and eight push buttons using only 3 control lines. Yes that means you save a LOT of pins on your micro. The board only requires 5 connections in order to be fully functional – VCC, GND, and your 3 control lines.
