The Raspberry Pi Zero is an SBC (Single Board Computer) which features a high performance CPU, RAM, video output, camera interface, 40-pin GPIO header, and the list goes on. At the heart of the device sits a BCM2835 chipset overclocked to 1GHz with 512MB of RAM. The board also features a mini HDMI 1080p video output port, microSD card slot, a CSI camera connector, a micro USB On-The-Go (OTG) host port, a micro USB power port, and an unpopulated footprint for a HAT-compatible 40-pin GPIO header. With it’s small form factor and reduction in peripherals, the Raspberry Pi Zero only uses approximately 140mA at 5VDC.
