The GY-91 module is a breakout board for both the InvenSense’s MPU-9250 9-Axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and Bosch BMP280. The MPU-9250 combines a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis magnetometer in a single tiny chip and provides 16-Bits of resolution for each of the 9 axes. The BMP280 on the other hand is an absolute barometric pressure sensor which adds yet another sensor to this module. Other features include an embedded digital output temperature sensor, user programmable full scale range for both the accelerometer and gyroscope, an on-chip 512-Byte FIFO buffer and extremely low power consumption.
