The LD2410B from Hi-Link is a high sensitivity 24GHz human presence sensing module. It operates primarily based upon the principle of FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) to detect human targets in a set space. Radar signal processing and accurate human body sensing algorithms allow a high level of sensitivity when detecting bodies that are either in motion or stationary – a big step up from your standard PIR sensors. Approximate distance to the target can also be calculated using the data received from the radar sensor. Reaching up to a maximum sensing distance of 6 meters (With a resolution of 0.75m), this sensor is primarily used indoors to output results in real-time.
