The ESP32-WROOM-32E Development Board is basically a development/breakout board for Espressif’s ESP32-WROOM-32E series chip. It features both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, has 4MB of flash and 520kB of SRAM which can be used to store custom code, along with many more features which you can read about below. Programming one of these is very simple and can be done via the micro-USB connector which makes use of the on-board CH340 USB to UART chip.

The most notable difference between the ESP32-WROOM-32E and ESP32-WROOM-32UE variants that we stock is the style of antenna used by the module. Both feature the same specs, but this type has an on-board PCB trace antenna which sticks out over the edge of the board to give the antenna more clearance from the pins on either side.
