The ESP32-WROOM-32 Development Board is basically a development/breakout board for Espressif’s ESP32-WROOM-32 series chip. It features both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, has 4MB of flash and 520kB of SRAM which can be used to store custom code, along with many more features which you can read about below. Programming one of these is very simple and can be done via the micro-USB connector which makes use of the on-board CP2102 USB to UART chip to communicate with the ESP module.
These boards are manufactured in China and come in a few different flavours. This dev board follows the pinout and general layout of the “ESP32 DEVKITV1” model. The pins are also left unsoldered so that you can solder custom headers into the board if required.
