The Arduino Mega2560 CH340 Clone is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560. It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 14 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller. Simply connect it to a computer using the included USB cable to get started.

The main difference between this board and the Arduino Mega2560 Clone that we stock is the USB to UART chip. In order to manufacturer a lower cost product, the designers have opted to replace the ATMega16U2 with the more cost effective CH340G chip. You just need to make sure you have the correct drivers installed and you’re good to go.

As with any of the Arduino Clone boards that we sell, we use the word Clone to indicate that the board is not an original Arduino board. The PCB, components and solder work are still of very high quality, and the board as a whole operates exactly like the original. The form factor of the board is also identical to the original meaning that the Clone is compatible with all the same shields that the original is.
