Jaw Replacement Notes
- The ratchet sets how far the jaws close, and it must be adjusted for each jaw – the tool won’t crimp correctly until it is.
- To adjust it, remove the screw holding the ratchet, then open and close the tool while easing the ratchet into the new position with a small screwdriver. It needs very little force. Refit the screw to hold the setting.
- The product images include one of this jaw fitted in the tool – use it as a guide to the jaw’s orientation and the ratchet setting.
