Operation Overview

  • The board is powered from the “Power Source” input terminals and uses a 12VDC relay. This limits the operating voltage range of the board to that of the relay coil
  • Use the trim pot to adjust the undervoltage trigger value. Turning the pot clockwise will increase the trigger voltage, while counter clockwise will decrease it
  • If the input voltage at the “Power Source” terminals is above the undervoltage trigger value, the relay will be OFF (coil deenergized). If the input voltage decreases below the undervoltage trigger value the relay will turn ON (coil energized)
  • The load is connected to the NC (normally closed) contact of the relay, meaning that when the relay is OFF (NC contacts closed) voltage will be present at the load, and when the relay is ON (NC contacts open) there will be no voltage at the load terminals
