Operation Overview
- If the connected battery voltage is below 3.0V, the charger provides a 100mA trickle charge until the battery reaches 3.0V
- Once the battery reaches 3.0V, the charger switches to CC (Constant Current) mode and charges at the preset current limit
- Refer to the product image for the current-setting resistor location. Default (47kΩ) – 3A; open circuit – 2.1A; 135kΩ – 1A
- Constant Current mode continues until the battery voltage approaches 4.2V and the charge current drops to approximately 300mA. The charger then switches to CV (Constant Voltage) mode
- In CV mode, charging pauses every 4 minutes to check whether the battery voltage exceeds 4.15V. If the battery is full, charging stops. If not, charging resumes for another 4 minutes before checking again.
- After full charge is detected, charging will resume only if the battery voltage drops below 4.1V
