A basic breakout board for WCH’s CH9121 chip – a two channel UART to Ethernet bridge, providing bidirectional transparent data transmission between TTL UART and RJ45 Ethernet.

Pin Description

  • RSTI-> External reset input. Active low with internal pull-up
  • RESET-> Restore to factory settings. Detected on power-up. Active low
  • CFG-> UART config mode input. Active High with internal pull-up. Low to enter configuration. High to exit configuration
  • DIR-> RS485 receive and transmit switching control pin
  • TCPCS-> TCP port connection status indication. Active in TCP client mode. Outputs low when there has been a successful connection
  • RXD2-> Asynchronous UART 2 RX (disabled by default)
  • RXD-> Asynchronous UART 1 RX (enabled by default)
  • TXD2-> Asynchronous UART 2 TX (disabled by default)
  • TXD-> Asynchronous UART 2 TX (enabled by default)
  • RUN-> Operating status indication pin
