The LILYGO A7670E LTE PCIe Expansion Board has been designed around the SIMCom A7670E LTE Cat 1 module, which supports wireless communication modes of LTE-FDD, GSM, GPRS and EDGE. With the phasing-out of older technologies such as 2G and 3G, LTE is now one of the few cellular standards with broad global coverage, making this board an excellent choice for future compatibility. Using LTE, the module can reach downlink rates of up to 10Mbps, and uplink rates of up to 5Mbps. Other features include support for multiple network protocols, IPEX MHF-I socket for an off-board LTE antenna, multiple indication LEDs and an M.2 edge connector which allows slot in connection with compatible LILYGO base boards.
