The A7670E LTE Dev Board has been designed around the SIMCom A7670E-LASE LTE Cat 1 module, which supports wireless communication modes of LTE-FDD, GSM, GPRS and EDGE. With the phasing-out of older technologies such as 2G and 3G, LTE is now one of the few cellular standards with broad global coverage, making this board an excellent choice for future compatibility. Using LTE, the module can reach downlink rates of up to 10Mbps, and uplink rates of up to 5Mbps. Other features include support for multiple network protocols, Micro USB port for power and/or PC integration, wide input voltage range of 5V to 10VDC, high quality 470µF Tantalum capacitor, IPEX MHF-I socket for an off-board LTE antenna, dual SIM support, network status indication LED and standard 2.54mm pitch header pins.
